Below are a series of class photos sent to the D.C.Police Museum and Memorial Project as part of our growing collection of artifacts, documents and photos. These photos tell the story of the changes that occurred from 1970 through 1972. The initial group are of classes as they graduate from T-7 and T-8 on the grounds of Bolling Air Force Base, but the next group were taken on the steps of the newly built Police Academy at Blue Plains.
Also pay attention to the last photo, Class 72-8 and see the distinct difference with regard to women as compared to the earlier Class 71-7 photo.
