You’re Invited to the Dedication Ceremony for the newly renovated DC Police Memorial fountain and the new Police Memorial Wall. The event will take place in front of the Daly Building, 300 Indiana Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20001, on May 1, 2023 at 1pm.
Please witness this historic event – the renovation of the DC Police Memorial fountain and the new Police Memorial Wall with the 125 names of our fallen engraved in the granite. The ceremony will conclude a 13-year endeavor and should last 2 hours.
Survivors and friends are encouraged to attend the event, which includes a Roll Call of fallen officers. The Wall lists the names of all our fallen officers by name and date of death since President Abraham Lincoln took personal interest in founding a regular police department in 1861 for the District of Columbia.
We ask that everyone planning to attend please RSVP by clicking the button below.
