Circumstance:  
Sergeant Donna L. Allen suffered a medical emergency after checking off from work working a traffic overtime detail. A member arriving to work at the Third District observed Sergeant Allen’s medical emergency and immediately began life-saving measures. She was transported to Medstar at the Washington Hospital Center, where she passed away.

Biography
Sergeant Donna L. Allen served with the Metropolitan Police Department for 31 years. She began her career as a Police Cadet in 1989 and was assigned to the Third District at the time of her death. She is survived by her mother, two sisters, two brothers and a host of nieces and nephews.
